First visit to this coffeeshop. Recommended by friend to eat the fried hokkien mee and roasted duck. I went ahead and ordered a hokkien beehoon mee mixed $4.50. Understood price had increased over the years. The hokkien mee came with a few pieces of squid, 3 pieces of prawns and a whole of umami from the prawn stock. I let it sit for awhile while the noodles soaked in the stock slightly more. It's a half wet half dry hokkien mee which was superb tasting. Totally enjoyed it. Also ordered a beansprouts cockles as a side at $7. Enjoyed that as well. Ordered a triple roast meats combination platter for 1 from Lian Huat Roasted Delights at $7 + an add on of duck gizzards at $0.50. Loved the roast of the duck and the roast pork. Char siew was slightly dry but the slightly saltish sauce over it makes up for the entire thing. The ice coffee is quite fragrant and good too. $1.60 for this size and taste is definitely worth it. Yummy meal at the coffeeshop. Will be back

Good place to have meal for people that live nearby. I like this stall and have had lunch or dinner several times. There will be a queue in peak hours. Fried Kway Teow is very good with a friendly price(only $4) and enough amount. It is a perfect mixture of all kinds of flavors and textures. The thin noodle is springy and chewy, the wide rice noodle is soft and moist, and pork lard is crispy. There are also many other ingredients including eggs in small pieces, bean sprouts, sausages, fish cakes and clams. The overall flavor is savory and a bit spicy. The spiciness is good for me and I didn’t feel much oiliness.

Great coffeeshop with food such as duck rice, chicken rice, fishball noodle and prawn noodles. The zhi standard is really very awesome I must say! Been staying around this area for the past 20 years. Went through the before and after renovation of the coffeeshop..
