Singapore｜Ichidon Winkitchen

Came to this japanese place which is introduced by a friend that lives nearby. It was a small coffeshop. My friend ordered the Truffle Beef Steak Don and I ordered the Mentaiko Salmon Don. We also ordered a side dish mixed of beef balls. The salmon and beef steak were perfectly cooked and very flavourful as well. The portion is also big if you look at my pictures. Really hard to find such a food place gem in the neighborhood. For the service, it was fast as the food was ready like 10 min after we ordered. Lot of parking nearby too as it is HDB area. Because it is a small coffeeshop so space is limited and will be a bit noisy. That is the only setback I think. Overall, great food. I will definitely come back again.

Updates 2/June/2023 Came here again and ordered the tartar sauce chicken karaage don. Beautifully decorated bowl of artwork. this is the second time ...no. ...the 3rd time in a row seeing such cuisine art. Wow!!!! It takes a lot of heart to present food in such a gastronomical way. What an amazing chef here! Keep up the great cooking chef! _------------------------- Tried here again at 186 coffeeshop. This time, ordered the Ichidon's chicken teriyaki. Verdict? Fantastic. The rice bowl is well presented with well mixed ingredients. Look at my photo, isn't it well done? Already I felt gastronomically hungry. after tasting! Oishii!!!!!!! Really Tasty!!!!!! Wonder if the residents here knew about this Japanese cuisine. It is comparable to the restaurant standard and the price is an amazing coffeeshop price. Very economical. This stall must support. Those who are living around here or are visiting Yishun must come here to try at least one. The chef is a friendly person who is dedicated and determined to bring quality food to your table. We are regulars of this stall as my children love the chicken cutlet don. The portion is big enough for my 2 children to share as they are small eaters. The owner/ chef is very friendly and kind to my children. I personally enjoy the beef don. We highly recommend this stall for good quality and value-for-money Japanese don dishes. 👍
