Best mee siam! Got to try this! Big portion, delicious and value for money at $3.50! Takeaway container impressive with separate noodle and soup portion. They also do party orders but you have to provide the containers. Try the curry puff next to it too!

First visit and highly recommended by my sister in law. Newly renovated. Toilet modern and clean. Let's hope the public will use it responsibly. This coffee shop is huge with many stalls. Good selection and good food. The contractor engaged to cleans the tables do a good job. Unlike other hawker centres where the cleaners simply sweep the leftover food stuff on to the floor and do not clean the tables. I hope the supervisor continue to motivate the staff to do well. Afterall, this is our country and we should be proud to keep everything and everywhere clean.

Today, I was invited to meet up for lunch by @june_shijie at @meide_coffeeshop 美德咖啡店, at Bukit Batok. Even before reaching, the name already intrigued me as 美德 meant virtue, so I definitely have to give it a go. Hopefully, I am virtuous enough to eat there and hopefully, the coffeeshop lives up to its name. Indeed, I wasn't disappointed. Mei De has all the good food from renowned stalls, and there are so many stalls. It's like visiting those food streets. In addition, it comprises two coffeeshops face to face, so you get two times the options of food and drinks. In fact, you can literally try different stalls there daily, over an entire month. Today, I tried the @lixinfishball Li Xin Teochew Fishball Noodles 立兴潮州鱼圆面, which has a Michelin Gourmand Bib in 2022. The fishball and fishcakes were extremely fresh and bouncy, while the meepok was very Q and tasty. Their chilli and sauce were good, not overtly spicy. The iced lemon tea there was very rich as well.
