Coffee butter was the reasons of my visit, a little off at first since i’m not used to the oily texture, but that’s was okay overall. Toast was good. I can see why this place can last this long. Tourist should know that locals have their breakfast from 8.30 am (on average). This place is not that big so it can easily be packed. Prepare for a long queue since there are only three people serving for all the customer.

This place became our daily breakfast spot when visiting Singapore. Best part is it opens super early so even on those early mornings when I couldn’t sleep going here was convenient. They have the best Kaya toast and stuffed curry potatoes puffs which went really well with the condensed milk hot coffee and tea. Best part is it’s filling and really damn cheap, making It a perfect budget friendly spot. There is a bit of a language barrier but not impossible to communicate. I would highly suggest getting the grab app as it makes paying for food and communication simpler. A great way to start the morning. 1000% recommended - I would go to Singapore just for here alone.

The kaya toast in this place is out of the world with that coffee!! It’s the most affordable place and the service is really fast. This place has been making it for 40+ years. Enjoy the toast and relish it. There is also a bakery in-front where curry puff and sardine puffs are available - so yummy with the coffee. Coffee has three types I guess hot, cold and buttered. A super duper breakfast - must try.
