Fresh produce, freshly toasted, crunchy tofu and youtiao, sauce not too sweet. Doesn’t get much better than this. Four dollars for this is enough for one person. You’ll get crunchy sweet jicama, cucumber, bean sprouts, halved toasted tofu puffs, youtiao, young mango strands, and peanuts. So yummy!

Had the $5 Rojak Set. Very niche offering so expectations high. It did not disappoint. The prawn paste is split and not mixed but must admit the portion is not too generous

Uncle sells a rather different rojak from the usual all gooey mixed version. It’s an aesthetically pleasing and delicious snack. What’s different is the added apple & green mango slices, the youtiao/ tow pop individually grilled on order as well as sauces on the side. My tip is to mix both the chilli and prawn paste sweet sauce together and drizzle them over the plate before you eat. Service is always polite by the elderly uncle and digital payment all accepted. This restaurant presents a unique and authentic Singaporean snack: Rojak. The old man sells it with apples, green mango, fried dough sticks + bean curd (and baked to order) Unlike the usual, shrimp paste/chili sauce are also served separately. It is recommended to mix the two sauces and top it with the sauce. It is delicious and refreshing!
