One of my favourite haunts for zi char place. This place is very well known for the XO fish soup that comes chunky fish slices. The next dish that you must order is the prawn paste chicken wings. It’s so crispy and has such good prawn paste taste with every bite. Highly recommended place if you are in Chinatown area. Do take note that they only accept cash and the menu are in Chinese.

I originally wanted fish head rice noodles. It's a pity that it came too late, Already sold out Jane. I didn’t expect the fish rice noodles to be even more surprising -XO fish rice noodles A thick bowl full of fish fillets, tender and chewy. The soup is rich and aromatic. The cabbage is sweet and the thick rice noodles are smooth. -Salted fish fried rice Golden and dry, salty and fragrant, with clear and distinct grains. -Dongru Bocai The dongru has been fermented for enough time and is smooth and tasty. The spinach is sweet but not astringent, and the sauce is delicate and rich. -Casserole tofu This dish is just average. -San Lao Hor Fun Elegant and refreshing -Hong Kong kale Crisp and clear -Shrimp paste chicken wings Crispy and flavourful, tender and delicious This store has generous portions and an ancient taste. I highly recommend it.

A shop next to Smith street, and opens at 5pm in the evenings. It is certainly value for money for $8, with a big bowl full of fish head meat, noodles and soup. The XO taste is distinct and deep. You won't regret making a trip to enjoy this hot and delicious XO fish head noodle soup.
