The sweet and sour pork retained its crispy texture throughout our dinner. Even the last one did not become soggy. I was surprised with the mee goreng dish, which looks more like Hokkien mee and tasted like that too. The taste was nice, though - thin yellow noodles were springy, and the ingredients were fresh. I'm most impressed with the succulent steamed octopus that came with a special chilli dip sprinkled with some peanuts. The tofu dish had a nice lingering wine fragrance, and the accompanying broccoli texture was just right, not overly cooked It's Friday night, luckily we didn't have to wait too long. All of our dishes came in short succession of one another. 5 dishes for around $57+ is reasonable. I didn't feel thirsty after dinner, msg or no?

Great zichar spot at Toa Payoh. We tried several dishes and were quite impressed. If you like shellfish, do try the Salted Egg Yolk Lobster and the Lime Lala (tangy and mildly spicy). The Moonlight Hor Fun here has lots of wok hei, and is creamy and rich in flavour. Dang Gui Pork Ribs has a pronounced herbal flavour, very yummy. The Claypot Kang Kong was smoky and aromatic, topped with lots of pork lard!

Good zichar food here! Absolutely love the moonlight hor fun (it has 粉肠 intestines in it!) very fragrant with wokhey taste and smell! another good one was the salted egg crab, salted egg taste was very nice 👍 they are famous for their lobster which was cut up into smaller pieces and it was easy to eat, sauce was very yummy.
