The roast meat and chicken stall is the best. $2.50 breakfast promo meal is bagus, though the stall is non-halal. The Yuan Yang hot drink is very well made. I give it a perfect score. Come and taste to verify.

Just moved here recently. Chanced upon this coffee shop and was amazed at how affordable the mixed veg rice is and even more amazed at how good the dishes all taste. Long queues will form during lunch time and of course during dinner time. They offer affordable economical dishes like stir fried greens, fried eggs, steamed eggs as well as more costly dishes like the smallish steamed garouper, the sting ray in assam sauce and miniature yam rings. Another discovery is the stall selling fried carrot cake and some other fried dishes, Ming Ji. Most of the time, u will have to wait but its worth it. This stall offer fried carrot cake (white version) done in the style like that of the famous carrot cake stall at the 7th mile Bukit Timah hawker centre (double storey, near Beauty World MRT station) all patted down and then divided up into squares before dishing them onto the plate. I don't think they make their own carrot cake though. But really, it does not matter cos with the superb skills of the stallholder, it just taste so yummy! Definitely worth the wait!

A typical "kopi-thiam" with good variety of local food, from vegan, Indian, dim sum to teo chew porridge, noodle and roast delight.
