This hidden gem has undoubtedly won me over with its exceptional flavors and authentic presentation. The aroma wafting from the fragrant rice was simply irresistible. The rice itself, cooked to perfection with the infusion of pandan leaves, had an unmatched fragrance that elevated the entire experience. The fried chicken, oh my, it was a crispy delight! The tender, juicy meat coated with a flavorful batter made every bite a moment of pure bliss. The accompanying ikan bilis added a pleasant crunch, while the sambal chili brought just the right amount of heat to tantalize my taste buds. What impressed me the most about Selera Rasa Nasi Lemak was their commitment to maintaining authenticity. Every element of the dish felt true to its traditional roots, from the generous portion of peanuts to the perfectly boiled egg. It was evident that they take pride in preserving the essence of nasi lemak. Whether you're a nasi lemak aficionado or someone looking to explore the rich flavors of Malay cuisine, Selera Rasa Nasi Lemak is a must-visit.

Had the pleasure of trying out this well-known Nasi lemak joint, when some time cleared out during work. Seller was really friendly and cheerful despite the early timing, patient and smiling as I processed my payment with bad reception. Rice was fluffy and fragrant, the kind of “lemak” you always look out for when you’re indulging in this breakfast goodness. Royal Rumble meant plenty of sides to enjoy, and seller blessed me a river of sambal that was sweet, spicy and delicious. Definitely recommended if you’re looking for a classic Singaporean breakfast! ☺️

Worth the wait. Definitely the best nasi lamak in Singapore. Be ready to queue at least 30 minutes or more. Fried chicken is crispy, tender and juicy.
