Singapore｜Mr and Mrs Nasi Lemak

Finally after 3 tries, I got to taste the Nasi lemak. So worth the wait and perseverance. I decided to do take out cos the place is not aircon and I will definitely melt after a while. I got the chicken wing set and add on the deep fried pork belly and otah. Total came up to $9. Can fight with Crave’s Nasi Royale set. I was actually going for the roast pork but made the mistake of asking for fried pork thinking it’s the same. Next time I will remember to ask for roast pork although this time I didn’t see it. The fried pork can be abit jilat after a while abit on the salty side. Love the homemade chilli, the very essence of Nasi lemak! Will definitely come back again. Should be 5 star for the food and service. It’s the place no aircon lah.

I have heard good things about Mr & Mrs Nasi Lemak and decided to try on a Sat morning. Short queue and order was fast. I must say this is the premium version of Nasi Lemaks i have tried, from the rice to the chili to the meats are just more quality in them. I believe the rice is balsamic (or mixes) and it has a light not overpowering coconut taste. The chili is quite special here, i believe its own made. The flavor and sweetness is there though i would prefer a little more spicy. Chicken is my favorite here, its crispy, fresh, flavorful and well cooked to the bone. Good stuff!

chicken wings, basmati rice and chilli is damn on-point! The ladyboss is friendly and efficient. Service is good! Always manage to get my food less than 5mins during lunchtime! Really reasonable price for a special nasi lemak. MUST TRY!!!!
