Wow… wow… Don’t buy those haters 1-star comment. It must have been someone from a rival business. I was skeptical at first considering the prices of the menu has went up as per shared in some of the earlier reviews. The food is fantastic, pricey but it is well worth it. There is a lot of things going on - a simple curry carries so much flavour and ingredients. It’s rich, thick and makes you wanting for more. Asam Eggplant is just appetising and great opening to the meal. Tempe compliments well with not so overpowering chilis, well balanced sweetness of the Tempe. Soggy Rice in previous comment? - Come on… The rice is rich in coconut milk. It’s fragrant, rich that you can just have it like that without any accompanying curry/sambal and it still taste good. Atmosphere is cozy relaxing. Nice single origin coffee next door too (Opps…. Have your coffee kick next door after/before a great meal here)

Had the signature Ayam Berempah nasi lemak with a cup of Kopi C. The serving was decent for a guy like me. Rice was served warm but it wasn’t strong on the coconut flavor as others. Chicken was well marinated and tender with little bits of fried bits. Pricy if compared with other “hawker/coffeeshop” places. But the quality of the food made it worth the price. Will come back to try their other dishes.

My wife and I shared a plate of Nasi Lemak with Ayam Berempah Leg, Classic Laksa, Double Grass Jelly Drink & a Chendol Ice Cream for lunch. Laksa is very “lemak” & one of the best in town in terms of taste. Nasi Lemak with Ayam Berempah Leg is very good with ikan bilis & nuts and chilli. The Double Grass Jelly Drink (which is combination of lemon grass and grass jelly) goes along well with the food. We ended with a Chendol ice cream which was fantastic. For people who prefer teh si or kopi si, they make it too and prices are reasonable. They also have Nonya “kueh kueh” set for dessert.
