Decent portion of meat for 7sgd. The pork was fresh and the broth has an earthy deep flavour which tastes almost similar to Klang Bak Kut Teh in Malaysia. Definitely a rare hidden gem! Add on 70 sen for a bowl of rice and ask for garlic to pair with the herbal soup!

Many people recommended me this Bak Kut Teh on Facebook, and I was really pleasantly surprised when I tried it. My husband and I tried a lot of bak kut teh in Singapore before, but none of them tasted right. This one is really a little bit beyond our expectation, the taste is right, it can really be said that it tastes almost the same as Klang Bak Kut Teh. The soup here is neither too thick nor too light, and the pork and offal are cooked just right, without the strong smell of pig. The price is also reasonable, and the portions are sufficient. I will come to this restaurant in the future. I love it and recommend it👍🏻

Decided to give this stall a try despite the mix reviews on their pork rib soup aka Bak Kut Teh whether it is herbal enough or too plain etc. as it is very difficult to find good herbal Bak Kut Teh that are delicious and priced reasonably. Can smell the herbal soup aroma when approaching the coffeeshop but I am still skeptical about it cos have tried many so called herbal bak kut teh but always disappointed as cannot taste herbs in it but only dark soya sauce instead. Paid $16.60 for 1 x original pork rib soup, 1 x mix entrails soup with $1 top up kidney, 1 x you tiao 1 x braised egg and 1 x rice. The young chap took our order patiently with our questions on what type of entrails are in the mix pork rib soup and mix entrails soup and waiting for us to decide on what to order as we cannot decide on what to order as not familiar with their menu. He is also nice to serve us our order, could be due to off peak and we are seated near the stall, don’t penalise them if they don’t do it for you as we are suppose to self-collect with the electronic tag. He even offer us an extra bowl when he overheard our discussion to share the rice, although we didn’t request for it. He bagged the fifth star for the stall. The soups are served piping hot in claypot individually. We super love the herbal soup, finally found a genuine Herbal Bak Kut Teh! I usually don’t fancy pork rib soup as always find the meat very tough in many stalls or even restaurants. However, this stall’s pork rib is tender and absorbed the herbal taste. The entrails are also delicious, think they have put in effort to remove the pungent smells usually found in poor preparation entrails dishes. A little flaw is that one piece of the kidney is a little tough. Overall, we enjoyed the food and will be going back whenever we have craving for BKT and try out the other dishes as well. Keep it up guys, hope you can maintain your standards and maybe excel further if you can take up the challenge to add the dried type BKT.
