Singapore｜Lau Ah Tee Bak Kut Teh

Came for the bak kut teh but stayed for the seafood. Very fresh seafood, simply steamed but with excellent doneness. Perfectly steamed prawns and fish. Cold crabs are also a favorite here but was sold out on my visit. Get the steamed prawns, the heads of the prawns had a creamy texture and tastes amazing without any fishiness.

I was wondering why some muppets will go to a Bak Just Teh shop to drink hot drinks with a wheel chair? People need to do business right? I'm sure the shop will accommodate if they are ordering the main dishes for all and order drinks will be fine. People need to earn a living! These people are so entitled! Anyway, this shop is the place to go if customers wanted to experienced traditional style BKT. I will say it's like Song Fa style, peppery yet not over powering. We ordered the standard set of soup and it's delightful to eat and drink. If customers wanted more premium meat, they are order the prime rib soup. They have hot kettle for drinking Chinese tea it's a cup of tea for the occasion. No stomach space to try the intestine or other dishes. Hope to organize a bigger group to patronize this store again!

Steam fish is always a treat here. Pig trotters are also a favourite for me. :)
