Singapore｜WANt Food HV 恋恋湾味 Taiwanese Delights

This place gets pretty crowded during lunch hour and it takes awhile to secure a seat but would say that it’s worth the wait. The portions are larger than the usual Taiwanese eateries which fills you up and worth your money. The braised meat is tender and flavourful. Overall a hearty meal.

Newly opened second outlet of the WANt Food from Chinatown. At the location where Kyushu Pancake used to be, next to Subway. Food came pretty fast.. Braised pork rice and crispy egg pancake (plain) were delicious.. Fried chicken was fresh and warm, though my Taiwanese friends said doesn’t have the same Taiwanese taste 👅 Overall was pretty good, nothing overly salty or oily. Milk tea could be better though, it’s hard to replicate real TW🧋without TW 🐄 P.S. when you reach home, your clothes and hair may smell like you were standing at a Taiwan night market fried food stall…

I love coming here for the braised mince pork and belly. The pickles and egg work so well with it and it takes me back to my trip to Taiwan! A good, hearty meal.
