Singapore｜Central Hong Kong Café

A little crowded especially on weekends. However the restaurant is quite large with many seats, and the ambience is good. I ordered the Hong Kong rice plate (with luncheon meat, egg and duck). Portion given was quite generous with large amount of egg. The egg was also cooked well. One slice of luncheon meat was given which I thought was a little stingy. The portion of the duck seems to be underwhelming at first but most of it was covered under the egg. The vegetables are savoury and delicious, and the rice portion was a little small, but the meal was overall quite good for the price. The service was also very good; when a piece of bacon was accidentally dropped from the plate, it was quickly replaced. Overall still five stars from me.

This is my favourite Hong Kong Cafe in Singapore as there are also not many around. As usual, I ordered my favourite Pork Chop Bake Rice. Their milk tea and coffee taste authentic like the ones I had in Hong Kong.

haven’t been here since 2014. milk tea is solid; curry rice’s sauce full of roux, rather bland, but that’s how HK style is. beef is crazy tender!! 👍👍 waitress lady during Tue lunch time, very accomodating/ helpful, especially we changing table cow we had a baby with us 🙏
