90Sec Pizza opened just recently but it's already one of my favourite spots based off taste, location, and price. There's a few types of pizza in the small shop, (including one 'speciality pizza' that involves carrot puree). And you can pick between crispy or chewy (Neapolitan style). I am pretty loyal to my Neapolitan pizza so the four pizzas I've had there have all been chewy. The dough is hand-patted, toppings put on, then constantly turned on a paddle in the 427 degree clay oven until cooked to perfection in just 90 seconds. This makes the dough crispy on the outside while chewy on the inside. One thing to note is their Tobasco Sauce. I usually drizzle my pizza with chili olive oil, but their Tobasco sauce has all the flavor and is actually hot! What we ordered: Fiorentina: A favourite! I loved the tomato sauce, mozzarella, spinach and ofcourse the soft-boiled runny egg. Generous bacon pieces are placed on top of there as well adding some mouth-watering fat to your pizza. (268 NTD) Extra Margherita: simple, but a must order in every pizza shop. This is where you get to really enjoy the dough and basic ingredients. (268 NTD) Salty Pork: We ordered this out of curiousity. It tastes like a Chinese Pork dish with a huge blast of garlic and spring onions. A unique flavor that might work for some.
