More Comments at Google Map10/06/22 Home cook~ Yummy~ We ordered Senai Tofu, Bitter gourd soup, Hakka Fried Meat, Green bean minced meat fried, & Eggplant Prawn fried. Senai Tofu & The Bitter gourd soup are delicious home cook feel. Fried green bean very uniquely nice., never eat like that before. Eggplant of Eggplant Prawn fried is skinless, first time ever eat something like that. It is nice. Hakka Fried Meat came in very neat presentation, piece by piece, crispy yummy. Service is friendly, polite, just slightly slow, because lack of man power. Please understand them. Order tips: Please tell them what part of meat you want when ordering Hakka Fried Meat, & Bitter gourd soup. Price was about RM80
The decor is old school but most importantly clean and the air-condition is augmented by celling fans. This keeps the restaurant cool and especially important of you have been queuing outside for a while. The service is polite, attentive, fast and prompt. Good is service reasonably quick even when the restaurant is full. Top on the list is their bitter gourd soup with thinly sliced tender lean pork. It's the most delightful soup to cool down on a warm day. This is their signature dish followed by crispy fried and thinly sliced lean pork. The bread sprout dish a real surprise. They actually removed the tails and the heads leaving behind a nice crunchy middle. The claypot bean curd and fried long bean is also very good. The prices are also very reasonable. It's a good value meal for family. Don't worry about the long queue. The food is served rather quickly and the turnover is fast. I strongly recommend this restaurant.
My all time favourite restaurant to visit every time I drop by JB/Senai area. Siblings team with no or little foreign worker help. The female boss was chopping away with her husband when we visited them at 10am - first customers of the day. Ordered my usual favourite- pig’s organ soup with bitter gourd slices, Hakka fried meat, minced pork tofu, and a plate of stir fried bean sprouts. Everything was on point and super delicious. Soup were light and umami, rid of any strong ofal smell that you would expect. They really did a good job in cleaning and prepping the internal organs. Fried pork super delicious, always go for the half lean half fat option. Minced pork tofu, OMG good to go with rice. Must visit and support this family run eatery. You can hardly see any restaurant doing everything on their own these days. Support!
