Despite their specialty being their pizza (like the name of the place suggests), I didn’t get to try their pizza. However, their pesto was surprisingly delicious with very intense earthy pesto sauce (not cream-based) topped with arugula, which was a creative and smart addition to the dish in my opinion. The use of toasty almond slices in lieu of pine nut was surprisingly good: texturally I found it even superior than pine nuts (tho it can’t replace its characteristic flavour). Coffee, tho priced at RM9, was smooth and balanced. Another little surprise. Overall, it’s a down-to-earth place with some sorta 1980 ambiance, but delivering delicate taste.

Went on a weekday 6.15pm. There was no queue but do keep in mind the store is VERY small so it can get full very fast. Parking is ample during that time. Tried the pepperoni and mushroom pizza. Tomato base sauce was sweet but not sour, pepperoni does not fall off the pizza which was nice. They added some onions on top which gives it extra flavor. Dough was crispy on the sides yet not too burnt. Mushroom pizza was a little bland but does satisfy anyone's craving for the earthiness of mushrooms. Truffle Mac and cheese has a unique taste compared to other shops as the base tasted more like a mushroom soup than your typical white sauce. Definitely should try. Not too cheesy but recommended to share. Baby garlic bread was also unique and does not taste like your typical garlic butter. The bread is more on the bread-y side than crispy. Seasoning was on point and does taste slightly better if you add their basil oil. Price is on the higher side but will be money well spent.

The best brick clay oven baked pizza i had so far in town! Went during dinner hour but only quece for awhile before being seated. The ambience is nice, chill and casual. 11 flavours of handmade pizza which they would only prepare right away after ordering it. And the pizza is actually quite thin but rich with the toppings / tomato base since i ordered margherita. I cant describe how much i love their tomato base as they mix it so well that it wont be too sour or sweet and well fused with the buffalo mozarella cheese which bring out the best margherita pizza! And you would not want to miss to order the truffle mac and cheese as sides if you are a mac & cheese and a truffle lover. Hot macaroni served with cheese and lots of truffle and you will never get enough of it.
