Really love the food here! Didn’t really want to que for shinzushi so I thought to try this place as it was just down the road (opposite uob bank), glad we gave it a try. Sushi was pretty affordable and the salmon slices were very huge and fresh. The curry katsu was also a surprise as we was not expecting the portion to be so big. Total cost was about rm75 for all these dishes. Will definitely revisit again . Side note: service can be abit slow even though there were only a few tables so don’t come with a hangry appetite

recommend🙆🏻 The sushi is very special and cute. Fresh cut salmon belly (vry THICK). Food portion quite large. Enjoy their environment n service.👍 It is really cheap, average price for main within rm15, you can get a free tempura when you next visit !

This is my favourite place to have sushi. I especially love the aburi salmon sushi, where the salmon is sliced quite thick and large for just RM3.50. It also has a garlic fried rice to die for, best amongst all the other Japanese restaurants in KL. I remember years back, Shin Zushi used to have sushi of this size before it started shrinking in size. What I hate is when restaurants smother the sushi with so much sauce that you can’t taste the fish anymore. Here at Sushi Toyo, the sweetness of the fish comes through just nicely.
