Jyunzen is hands-down the best tasting, value-for-money Japanese food in the whole of JB. There's a wide range of offerings in their menu; almost all that I've savoured thus far is simply good. The portion is huge for the price tag. My recommendations: • Any of their Temaki's. My personal favorites are Soft Shell Crab 🦀 and Maguro. The crunchy seaweed and the hint of mayonnaise makes the first bite so satisfying! • Any of their Maki. Must try their Dragon Maki 🦐🍣 • Tempura Moriawase (assortment of battered and deep-fried vegetables and seafood) 🍆🦐🥕 • Shake Don - warm rice topped with generous slices of salmons and roes. 🍚🍣 • Their free-flow Ocha is only RM1 🍵 They have private dining areas if you have large number of dining guests. They impose the standard 10% + 6% service charges and tax, but every RM100 spend gets you a RM10 voucher which is valid for your next visit. Parking is also aplenty, since there's not many restaurants in the vicinity, making it less crowded as compared to Sutera Mall area. If you're looking for a place to host your friends or celebrate special occasions, you will never regret picking Jyunzen! Fresh Japanese food at an affordable price. Have always visited this branch whenever we enter JB. 1. Sashimi platter has never disappointed, fresh and affordable thick slices of fishes 2. Their business is very good at peak hours. Suggest you to make reservation prior to your visit. This should be one of the best Japanese restaurants I have ever tried in Jb area. Their price is way friendly to me as well. Love their RM24 soft shell crab and I actually ordered 2 plates in one go. Environment is very cosy and good for family or friends gathering. The only disappointment is about their sake. A bit sourly
