They used to have an outlet in Jewel but closed down due to covid which is sad cos we really love their food esp the black vinegar chicken! Finally made time to try here & it is just as good, the sashimi slices were thick & very fresh. The tonjiru soup was an upgrade at $5 but tasted so soulful. We always order their black vinegar chicken & this was no disappointment either, tho we forgot to take photo of it. 2 set meals & sashimi cost us $127, a bit on the pricey side but the quality & taste of the food more than makes up for it! No issue w the service staff either, they were nice & attentive during our visit w our 1.5year old who polised off most of the miso saba I ordered!

not sure why so many bad reviews but this place is a hidden gem. $58 for salad, miso soup, chawanmushi, and 10 piece sushi is so value for money! not to mention all the portions were really big and not stingy at all. fish was so fresh and big pieces given, very melt-in-mouth. can tell the quality of the sushi is 👍🏼. service is also fairly good. they also serve FOC water and tea which is so rare nowadays. the location is also in a hotel in orchard, very easy to get to and pleasant environment. will come back for my sushi fix.

Japanese casual dining that’s slightly elevated with quality ingredients flown in and top notch service. Their grilled fish are a must have, and their chicken nanban meets the standard. Sashimi is also quite decadent.
