Nara, Japan｜Kakinohasushi Hompo Tanaka

Did not have a high expectation of this sushi but was surprised to know it is tasty and you can taste the lotus leaf with the sushi, it is different from other sushi you find in other shops, definitely should give this a try. They said the lotus leaf is supposed to keep the sushi fresh and we tested it by accident, we bought it in the afternoon and only opens it at night when we are back in the hotel, and it still tasted as fresh as it can be.

The set was great and refreshing. Maki was the only sub par part

Set menu is 1100 yen at the back of the shop. Absolutely delicious 😋. You can definitely get take out and eat out at Nara Park.
