Wanhua District, Taipei City｜Mei Guan Yuan

The place is nice. Not so crowded. The price and the taste are quite alright. The beer is great both taste and price. The service is so cozy.

Waited 10mins for our turn. Went there for lunch around 12.30pm. Some benches available outside while you wait. There is a menu with images in case you cant identify the dishes. Order by filling up the form. Pay after you finish eating. The service speed was quite fast. They serve free miso soup which was delicious. The salmon belly sashimi was slice in large chunks and was very satisfying to eat. We got a donburi and all the ingredients were tasty too. The rice is just normal rice not the japanese rice.

Thus is one of my Must-Visit place whenever I visit Taipei. This very nostalgic Japanese diner in Xi Men Ding is very popular with locals and visitors alike. Price is very cheap and quality of food is reasonable. Most of all, I come to this place to feel that nostalgia =)
